Company's Sr. Systems Analyst - Transportation, while reporting to the IT Project Manager, will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that functions as the senior technical resource for systems, applications and tools used to support Transportation. The Sr. Systems Analyst will consult with users to identify current operating procedures, clarify program objectives, and develop detailed specifications for new applications or changes to existing applications that further the company goals while also providing technical guidance to other team members, leads projects, and manages both internal and external resources to ensure deliverables meet time and quality constraints.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Evaluates, plans, coordinates, and tracks resources (internal and external) and tasks related to application implementation or enhancement.
o Acts as liaison with departments impacted by applications in given application areas. Determines possible system enhancements or new development based on departments' business needs. Coordinates the training of user departments on new applications and procedural responsibilities.
o Provides assistance to Application Development Managers in designing system enhancements or new systems ensures technical direction is understood and implemented appropriately.
o Assists in development and publication of user manuals, system prototypes, and pilot applications. Coordinates the training of new staff in all situations where initial and further education is required.
o Provides regular support for existing tools and procedures (7 X 24).
o Identifies and corrects flaws and/or procedural gaps related to applications being implemented.
o Ensures quality of enhancements or new procedures developed by team members.
o Supervises daily project tasks.
o Reports project related progress for team members and self to management.

o Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
o Performs a variety of highly technical tasks and mentors others in developing the skills to perform these tasks.
o Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered the technical expert for the applications supporting the business area.
Work Experience and/or Education
o Degree in Business or Computer Information Systems preferred.
o Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in one or more structured computer programming languages.
o Senior level experience and expertise with data modeling, data mapping, data warehousing and report writing. Developing Dashboards and Reports.
o Preferred experience with JDA Business Analysis or Cognos Business Intelligence applications (Report Studio, Framework Manager and others) and Informatica (ETL).
o Ability and desire to learn a new software development tool.
o Languages/Technologies Preferences:
Oracle PL/SQL, XML, XAML.
o Experience with JDA ABPP is highly preferred, though not required.
o Familiarization with Transportation Systems and/or Transportation industry experience is a plus.
o Prefer JDA or i2 Technologies Transportation Management Systems experience.

Candidate Must Have :
Minimum 4 to 8 Years' experience development with a Transportation Management System (TMS).,Proficient/Knowledgeable on JDA (i2) TMS Agile Business Process Platform (ABPP).,Expert experience with JDA (i2) Transportation Suite data model and data requirements highly preferred.,At least 3 years' experience working with JDA (i2) Transportation suite of products in a technical role a plus,Solid experience developing custom workflows/capabilities using JDA ABPP.
