The Programmer Analyst - Store Systems, while reporting to the IT Project Manager, will be responsible for developing and testing solutions designed by senior staff performing system and unit level analysis and will also work with senior staff on user test plans and documentation. The Programmer Analyst will also support production systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Writes and assembles unit level design specifications.
o Programs, tests and documents new and/or existing applications, adhering to Company standards.
o Coordinates standardized unit tests.
o Provides regular support for existing programs and procedures (7 x 24).
o Assists in development of user documentation and training procedures.
o Recommends and documents work flow improvements.
o Prepares routine progress reports for supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
o Good written and oral communication skills.
o Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language and database.
o Understands the system development process.
o Ability to create, execute, and/or communicate basic design specifications.
o Proactive identification and communication of programming and/or design issues.
o Ability to meet deadlines and resolve minor project problems.
o Team player
o Customer service driven
Work Experience and/or Education
? A two year degree, technical or business preferred, or pursuing a two year degree with a minimum of three to four years' experience in Information Services.
? Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience developing applications using the C#, .Net programming language in SQL Server/Oracle environments.
? Experience leading small projects with 1 or more developers.
Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
