Maintenance Manager
Located in Shelbyville, TN, AB Stretch, LLC is seeking a qualified, experienced, and proven leader to join the AB Stretch team as a Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
o Supervise all maintenance employees, direct their operation, and delegate work responsibilities as needed.
o Responsible for training maintenance employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards, and proper safety procedures.
o Prepare and/or approve maintenance schedules to ensure that staffing needs are met.
o Direct and approve all requests for maintenance and repair of equipment and machine parts.
o Oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of company machines and mechanical systems, and monitor the completion of maintenance job assignments.
o Maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment installations, work orders, and daily maintenance activities.
o Recommend and/or make improvements to machinery and related equipment.
o Manage maintenance budget including monitoring inventory and expenses.
o Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
o Prior experience as a maintenance manager in a plant setting required.
o Prior training in general maintenance or small motors, or equivalent work experience.
o Cast film line experience preferred.
o Experience working in a plastics extrusion or cast film plant preferred.
o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
o Dependable, fast learner, good analytical and problem solving skills.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Must be available as needed and/or on call, dependent on business needs.
