IT Systems Administrator

A client of XMi Human Resource Solutions in Bedford County, TN is seeking a qualified, experienced, and proven leader to join their team as an IT Systems Administrator.
SPECIFIC Responsibilities:
o Manage inventory system software, and test, maintain, and modify software using computer terminal as needed to improve/streamline order processes.
o Manage the operational integration of ERP processes from the time a customer order is placed until the customer receives the order.
o Manage the setup and order entry of inventory management systems.
o Define requirements and identify solutions for improving or replacing systems as necessary for efficient operation and production.
o Analyze performance indicators, such as order process time and order tracking to ensure that system is operating efficiently.
o Monitor and/or revise system software so that system performance will meet objectives and end-user needs.
o Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested changes to operating system are possible.
o Develop and write system procedures required to effectively utilize software.
o Establish company intranet and document storage system.
o Identify resourceful and economic software solutions to meet business needs.
o Test systems to debug, as required, in order to eliminate errors.
o Assist users having problems with use of system software.
o Create custom reports and utilize existing reports in Quickbase.
o Other duties as assigned.
o Bachelor's degree in computer science or information science-related field, or equivalent work experience.
o Prior experience with development and management of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
o Good analytical abilities coupled with excellent written and verbal skills to explain technical information to managers and system users.
o Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
o Bilingual skills in English/Spanish a plus.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

The salary range for this position is $42,000 to $48,000, commensurate upon experience. The company also offers an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, and paid vacations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
